Description

The completion of the relas marks the beggining of the second and last section of the performance, which focuses entirely on preconcieved compositions with little or no scope for elaboration. The first among this series of compositional structures is a gat. A short poetic movement using bold strokes, the gat seldom allows variations except in its incarnation as gat and qaida or in other words, a gat in the form of a qaida. Here, Aneesh presents virtuostic gat ang qaidas followed by shorter gats. The medium tempo introduced during the gats is finally accelerated to make way for the tukdas.
