Born in 1975, in India, Srivani Jade grew up in a musical atmosphere. She received her initial training in vocal music from her father Bhavani Prasad Jade and uncle Raghu Tilwalli. She gave her first stage performance at the age of five. Later, she was introduced to Khayal gayaki by Sharad Gadre of Seattle. Since 2006, she has been studying with accomplished vocalist of Kirana Gharana, Parameshwar Hegde, disciple of Basavaraj Rajguru.
Srivani has performed both in North America and India, and has also received several grants and awards for her work in classical music.
