Trained in the Dhrupad style of Hindustani music by Zia Fariduddin Dagar at Dhrupad Kendra, Bhopal, the two brothers from Ujjain have also received lessons from the late Zia Mohiuddin Dagar. They frequently perform at festivals in India and abroad. They head an institution dedicated to dhrupad learning in Bhopal.
