Description
100th birth anniversary of Pannalal Ghosh (1911-1960): a two-session musical offerings by acknowledged artistes.
Groups/Bands/Artistes:
The morning session presents flautist Nihar Kabinittal, a disciple of Nityanand Haldipur and senior vocalist Ramesh Jule, nephew and disciple of Mani Prasad of the Kirana Gharana.
The evening session presents Apoorva Gokhale, grand-daughter of Gajananbua Joshi and flautist Nityanand Haldipur, disciple of Pannalal Ghosh, Devendra Murdeshwar and Annapurna Devi, with accompaniments by Nayan Ghosh, Girish Nalavade, Shantanu Shukla and Niranjan Lele.
Schedule
