MusiKi: Music for Kids – VIII - Tansen : Music for Kids
Children have great capacity to learn and imbibe cultural heritage if they are exposed to it. MusiKi was conceived in 2009 by Mala Ramadorai with the support of NCPA and Inner Courtyard to engage young children in workshops enabling them to enjoy Indian classical music through various sessions on Varsharitu, Festivals of Bhado, Raag Yaman, Songs of Holi, Flora and Fauna in Music and Art, The divine child, Krishna and Meera bhajans. It has been a revelation how children could effortlessly learn and sing classical compositions over a short span of 3 days.
