Creative Dance Therapy: Facilitated by Tripura Kashyap
Creative dance therapy involves the use of natural body movements to attain therapeutic goals. Dance therapists encourage participants to evolve a personal movement language to achieve holistic growth, creative self-expression and healthier functioning.
The workshop consists of three broad segments.
Theory includes historical evolution, techniques, principles and objectives of dance therapy.
The practical segment consists of warm up & relaxation routines, body awareness practices, creative movement activities and games.
The third segment consists of Movement assessment in which participants learn to analyze body movement patterns and behavior.
