Sangit Mahabharati presents on its 55th year : 100th Birth Anniversary of PANNALAL GHOSH (1911-1960)

3rd, 4th and 5th January 2012 at 6:30 pm
On Tuesday, 3rd Jan 2012, Nayan Ghosh and his 11-year-old son Ishaan Ghosh will begin the festival with a Tabla Jugalbandi with Dilshad Khan on sarangi and Siddesh Bicholkar on harmonium, followed by a Santoor recital by Shiv Kumar Sharma with Yogesh Samsi on tabla.
On Wednesday, 4th Jan 2012, Tejendra Narayan Majumdar and Kushal Das will present a Sarod-Sitar Jugalbandi with Nayan Ghosh on tabla followed by Bansuri by Hariprasad Chaurasia, assisted by nephew Rakesh Chaurasia, and on tabla by Vijay Ghate and on Pakhawaj by Bhavani Shankar.
On Thursday, 5th Jan 2012, Vishwamohan Bhatt and Ronu Majumdar will present a Mohan-Veena and Bansuri Jugalbandi with Yogesh Samsi on tabla, followed by the vocalist duo Rajan Mishra and Sajan Mishra with Nayan Ghosh on tabla and Sudhir Nayak on harmonium.
